Yes, I understand that will never happen, I believe I have seen it posted somewhere in the forums by the developers or mod's that they have no interest in that direction. Also, I would imagine that it would require a major overhaul and redesign of the game itself, which is probally not feasible for the from a time point, or economics perspective. I like the fact that in the last couple of seasons there have been some upgraded features, and that everything is not static. I'm just not so sure that I like the new features for next season. My primary concern relates to the fact that the playoff's are one and done until the finals. There is no room for corrections, you have seen 3 months of effort go down the drain in 2 hours. I guess the real answer, and we will not know this until next season, is how much an actual performance affect the new features will have.

I think I need to find a mentor. I am pretty terrible at this game.

Not to speak for him, but I can definitely see the allure of spending 250k/wk and playing 1-2 playoff games vs. spending close to 500k/wk and playing 1-2 playoff games. Actually, I guess I am speaking for him, then, so I suppose it's time for me to reveal how much he respects my immaculate awesomeness and modesty. It's big of him to admit that, so I respect myself for doing it for him.

hrudey has that mostly right. Lowering my salary bill with 3 more home games seemed like a good idea. I've ensured a playoff spot at least and I don't have a lot of hope to compete with Delta, Kelts, or Thumpers in the playoffs, especially since I was almost broke before selling Julian and Ritter.

Also, I figure I can get the best prices now, a week ahead of the playoffs. So, I put their prices at the high end of their transfer compare and if they don't sell then I can either keep them until I decide to retire them, or relist for lower ahead of the playoffs. Not to mention that most of my players are in the 29-30 age range meaning that they will lose value drastically in the next few seasons. I'll probably look to rebuild once the playoff deadline hits, as prices tend to go down then.

The other thought I had was to do a complete rebuild since training is my favorite part of the game, but that would involve a couple of relegations to get a good draft pick (and then need to sell old draft picks, which I don't really want to do). I think I can push on by rebuilding in the offseason and make a good run next season.

Thank you for the kind words, and the ball too although those tend to get lost in the shuffle. I think you're right that it's good that +1s don't affect the standings in any way, but it's just further proof that I am indeed the master of the useless.
