None of my 5 stars were scouted twice, so I knew I was in a bit of a crapshoot.

The one guy worth keeping would be very very good if not for the fact he is 19... and a 'star'. Decent #5 replacement for training though.

I hate the draft. Just once I would like to feel like my scouts can identify talent.

I got two 5 star draftees and both are garbage. This feels like a story that repeats itself every year.

I'm happy with my decision to stop putting money into scouting. This draft turned up three 19 year olds. Two are absolute turds and one is merely horrible.

I invested 0 to scouting, and thats exactly what I got out of it. I'll take the 280k saved though.

Add me to the list who is going to take my $280k and hoard it instead.

i didnt keep a record of the draft board we could order like i have in past seasons, but i got my best draftee ever this year (6k guard). both of my draftees i kept would be great for training except for their starter potential, so they can play against bots for the early cup rounds before getting the chop.

The reason I invested some money in it was because:
1. A bunch of my league mates had publicly proclaimed their hatred of the draft, making the chance of me getting two high quality players much better.
2. I knew I would have a bad season, so I would draft with a great pick.

The exact same reason I didn't totally scrap spending weekly money on draft. I figured I would get someone decent. My 9th pick (5th choice) is a $4K guy with "star" potential. He's not even as good as my 5th trainee. Add me to the 280K saver club

However, I do have to say this year it was totally worth it for me since for my 3rd pick I got to draft the guy with the greatest name in the history of buzzerbeater... Richard Cox. Totally worth the money!

Richard Cox
Owner:
Turkey Sandwiches

Weekly salary:
$ 2 506
DMI: 0
Age: 18
Height: 6'10" / 208 cm
Potential: allstar
Game Shape: respectable
Jump Shot: atrocious Jump Range: pitiful
Outside Def.: atrocious Handling: awful
Driving: atrocious Passing: average
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: inept
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: awful

Experience: atrocious

And look at that. He really sucks... Cox does. He's not going to get any hardwood action all year.
