I noticed a lot of this stuff myself, but judging from my experience and observations it is not the engine that is breaking, but rather the visual part of it. During the game, it kept on giving my player's assists to the opposing team and vice versa, but after the game and looking into the play-by-play section it all seems to be okay.
Perhaps your case is different though.

Yes, you can spot it's many flaws right away if you view the games.

This is "only" the viewer. One more bug is noticeable when you compare the new version with the flash one in parallel (just watch your game using side viewer). You will see that the shoots are not taken from the same place of the court depending on the viewer...

I noticed the score itself is incorrect. It says I lost 97-94 saturday night, but when I looked at the tail end to see what happened the final was actually 97-89. that's going to cause some serious consternation I kid you not.

In general, we can watch a plethora of bugs. The only and one thing that we cannot watch is the game

While slow and buggy and maybe inaccurate, the new viewer works on my phone. Watching live games on my mobile is something I really appreciate. Wanted to drop this among all the discontent going around with regards to the live match shituation.

Apart from all the bugs mentioned above, the worst thing about it is that it uses 100% of my CPU.
My Macbook is so hot after watching one quarter that I decided to close the tab.
