If you don't have randomness, and the unknown, then you are leaving things to pure math and that is boring as F
This isn't about randomness as that cant be balanced out in other ways. Its about a feature that is random to the point it decides results, not just influences them. You can try building a deep roster and hire a level 7 doctor but that only works if your opponents superior 8 rotation without any depth takes an injury.
I'd prefer more consistent randomness than what we get from injuries. Turn up in game randomness, game shape and then turn down (or out) injuries.

In BB world it's an unnecessary pill, particularly as its implemented (why is a player only injured in-game or at least 3 games, nothing in between?). A good balance of random is required to keep us logging in, it doesn't have to be through injuries.
I'd rejoice if they found a cure for long term injuries. I, and many other Bulls fans, have watched a lot less basketball with Rose out.
