I don't get to watch the Tuesday games because I'm at work. But I do try to tune into the Sat rday games. One thing that has changed is the live viewer uses a lot of CPU space and it often locks down my browser. So I end up dipping in and out.

Tonight looked for all the world like a loss. I was always behind. Although Ash guessed wrong on the offense, they guessed right on the pace and put more into the game. I headed off the the grocery store thinking I'd come back to a 1-2 team with some PO'd fans. The thing that gripes me is I lost 3 games in the league all last year and the fans went from filling the bleachers to 60-85% after I lost the first game. I didn't want to see what the next home game would be like at 1-2.

A really big 4th quarter from Sargent did it. Wish he was a little more consistent, but I'll take it.

It's going to be hard to hold this team together . Arena revenue has dropped 75K and Merch dropped 20K while salaries increased by 60K. We better have a big run in BBM or the Cup or it won't be viable.

Not going to get a lot of sympathy on that, but it's crazy how hard this group is.

It was a great win. The attendance and merch will bounce back as the fan survey fills up and you have checked the boxes. Your payroll is pretty high but there will be more revenue on the way.

It is with heavy hearts but greedy spirits that we decided to fire Serdult after his latest injury

Indeed, Duane Jansen called me at midnight last night in a pretty heated mood. Unfortunately for him, I was about 12 Moscow Mules into the night and spent all of our teams money on a post game party at the club house so he will have to wait on more help for now. If he could just score on every shot I bet we wouldn't lose so many games!

Great call on the reverse patient tonight. I absolutely did not expect it, and it wasn't far from working. After three quarters the Globo guys were 11-13 from 3. I don't think I've ever seen a competitive BB game in which anyone shot 80% from 3. Thankfully, there was some regression in the fourth quarter. Another way in which this ended up a bit close for comfort was that both of my centers got injured during the match: thankfully one of them had his injury taped, so we didn't have to see a rookie SF play center.

Impressive win by X Dominate X who drop 131 despite being double guessed.

Two O's holds off Blacksheep's attempted comeback.

Everyone else, wins in blow-out fashion, including the Big 8's top dogs.

Yeah, I was actually really surprised we kept it close for the majority of the game. I was bummed that Jansen and Nguyen only got a handful of shots in the 4th, I was hoping for another run like we had to start the 2nd quarter where Jansen scored 15 points in like 6 minutes, but it wasn't to be. We also could not stop you from grabbing the offensive boards, that was the most frustrating part of the game for me. Duane Jansen has been sitting in my office for the last 7 hours scouting the transfer list, this guy needs to get a life!!

I like your team. Feels like you are one more offensive player away from being an absolute contender.

Same. One big salary and a couple cheaper defenders and it's Globo-time.

The second quarter ... I was playing guitar on my couch, happy that I was 10 pts up. I finished my little home-brewed jam and we were tied.

The OR were kind of the flipside of your shooting. Having lost my 18 OD player over the weekend, I was going big at SF. Let's just say Nguyen took advantage, but at least I was able to dominate the boards.

Appreciate the love! I agree with you, I think in a season my two 19yos should be able to contribute a bit more, and I'll end up adding one or two more high salary players and go for gold.

Clarifying match-day around the league. Yuck pounds Ashkickers at home. Johns Kickers holds off against a road CT from Crows.

On the Great 8 side, we cruise @Blacksheep despite some funky lineup choices for training.

(Side note: I always have this problem that my scoring is too spread around the team and can't hold on to anyone on the leaderboard, which affects merch...)

Some shocking matches elsewhere: MC and MIA play a scorched earth shootout, where the fourth highest scorer hits 28 pts!

X Dominate X exploits Doctors' predictable offense to take the game in OT.

Globo and Team NY hold serve at home.

Scrap Heap confirms their standing as the third force in the Big 8.
