1 Division with 14 teams

All 14 teams play each other (13 weeks)

Semifinals played between top 4 teams (1v4) (2v3) Winners go to final. (1 week)

Final (1 week) Winner of two semifinals play each other. (1 week)

15 weeks total.

As for what day the PickUp (PU) games should be played...

While I said Monday would be ideal, I think a range (between Monday and Wednesday) might be better, giving managers more time to ensure they get their game played. Life happens sometimes. Having a range would be fairer.

Regarding the strictness of penalties imposed...

I strongly agree that any team that breaks their HG team and plays a non-HG player should receive a strict punishment as this League is 100% about being and playing HG.

With that said, while 99.99% of managers would not be affected by strict penalties regarding this, newer HG teams might make a mistake at some point. That is why I presented the consequences I did...for them.

However, we also want everybody competing in this League to be very clear that if you are not HomeGrown go home! (Maybe this should be my new forum signature! lol).

Seriously though, the one compromise we can't really make is teams breaking this golden rule.

RULES:

1. A team must be 100% Home-Grown.
What is a Home-Grown Team? (326328.1)
2. A team must field a minimum of 5 players in a Matchup.

Maybe you have noted this somewhere already (or are in a different page with me and some others about it), but I didn't notice anything about mentioning that this league would be meant only for homegrown teams that compete with their main teams. You are technically correctly stating what homegrown team is, however, that's not what the original definition of homegrown teams by LOPO (who has established the list of homegrown teams, and whose definition I personally agree with).
So would you find it suitable to mention somewhere, that we are looking forward to creating main team only homegrown league here (or have I got it wrong that you're also looking forward to create that kind of league, and not a blended league)?

Personally I strongly think that if Utopian homegrown teams want to play homegrown league, an own league should be established for them, and "normal" BB main teams and Utopian teams should not be blended into same homegrown team league in any circumstance.

Having to dress minimum of 5 players per match is a good idea in my opinion. You can achieve that in 2 seasons if you're desperate to get playing quickly, so that's not too big of a demand. ;D

You are correct, Wagner!

Even though you and I have disagreed in the past (few months ago) about the Utopian teams being included...I strongly agree now that the Main Teams should only be included in our League.

The page I created explaining HomeGrown is just that. Information for people on what HG means.

For our League, however, we will not be accepting Utopian teams. :-)

Clearly there is some serious differences between the top salaries (728k) and the bottom (57k). 2 Divisions in the second year of the league will likely be needed to create more competitive games.

I have written 'confirmed' next to LOPO. demars, Wagner and myself...assuming you are all still participating in the upcoming League?

I have also sent a bbmail to the other teams on the above list asking them to either let us know here in the forum that they are still wishing to play and will be a 100% HG Team to start Season 68, or to let me know via bbmail.

Let's lock in the 14 teams and go from here...
