Huge win by Traptors! I'm so happy to have made it this far!
I thought the King was going to sweep both trophies this season!

Good luck to the Traptors!

The King is dead! Long live the King!

Nice run, Ozone. You created one of the most awesome teams i have seen. What an astonishing run: this will be the first season you've been in the NBBA you did not reach the finals. Amazing.

Thanks. I'd hoped to fight the ravages of old age long enough to take one more trophy this season, but the decline came on stronger and faster than I'd anticipated. I had one week with 9 skill drops, and a few others not far behind, and I just wasn't able to do enough to keep the team competitive. Not the way I wanted this team to go out, but we still had a good run. Congratulations to thylacine and good luck in the finals.

EDH Wolves II
I would like to bid you all a fond farewell, after seven years in the NBBA, we are heading back to Div I after enjoying the ups and downs of competing in what I consider the best league in BB. Going into the season we decided to rebuild the Wolves and now feel we have a good foundation for our current project with some interesting trainees in hand and a 5-5 prospect on the board . We have been relegated before so I know that it is hard to bounce back quickly and take nothing for granted as there are many hungry teams vying to come to the NBBA.

Best of luck to you all in your future, and hopefully we shall meet again.

Wow no offense to Golden Horde, (who's kicked my butt 3 times this year) or Toronto, but it sure felt like it would be Tucumcari v TKI in the finals. Obviously you want to go into the finals with HCA but I think choosing to PON Golden Horde on the road didn't carry a very high chance of success. I think that may be the last time someone underestimates his team.

I wonder if PCT'ing would have changed either game. Doesn't look like it.

Apologies for understating this, but epic run over the past few seasons. You planning on tanking next season or trying to a buy a new, slightly younger team to compete again?

He also didn't start Aker against me. He had cup enthusiasm advantage over me, so he might have thought that was enough.

But I do like it when teams don't use their NT players against me and use less enthusiasm.

I guess looking at my players salaries doesn't scare anyone!

Tanking. My next goal in this game is to win a B3 title, and there's just no way that I can do that in the short-term. So I'm going to save my money for several seasons and come back when I think I have a legitimate chance in B3.

fire sales are interesting. what i learned from the stuff you had on your front lawn:

1) i would bet dimes to donuts that DeSouza had drops in JS / JR -- no way he can score like he was capable with only a 14 / 10 (although a 14 IS is nice).
2) i always thought Enli was your best player. would love to have seen his abilities in his prime.
3) i woulda thought Choi and Toby D. would have been keepers -- low salary, talented, good for a mid-range Cup run.
4) good eye for starting prices. you already have bids on several players.
5) very good eye for value. you don't have my talent for overpaying for lesser ability. i can send you some hints in a private email.

good luck going forward.
