Knetch, I agree so much with you !

The money could be a way to fix the problem IF it was not possible to put newbies in lower leagues. But of course it is just sub-optimal. The right move is simply to affect newcomers to lower leagues.

Could a GM explain me why it is not possible ? Thx

thx Perpete and Manon. You're very helpful, as always ! (and sorry if my message sounded a little too harsh, that was not intentional)

Hey, we are now under 40,000 members. I'm sorry to say it, but the future of BuzzerBeater seems bleak.

Well some new managers really behave strangely, listen to this story for example:
In my league a new manager appeared three rounds before the end of this regular season and he got a team that was certain to make the playoffs, starting from the 4th position. In addition to it he got automatically two trainable players, one a center 18 years old superstar, another power forward 19 years old all star. It happened that he had his first game with me and lost by a very large margin. He then wrote a really nice and enthusiastic press release on his profile in which he analysed the game and talked about the preparations for the next match. That prompted me to write him a message in which I encouraged him to continue with playing and said that his first loss does not matter, and I suggested him that he trains the two players he got and to buy a trainer lvl 4 (I even suggested the price) and also for the rest of the starting money to try to find another trainee. I also suggested him to fire players with lowest salaries and to invest something in the draft. He never answered me, and I see now that he spent 450k on 6 players with salaries from 2-4k of which only one is under 22. I dont know if he at least bought the trainer.
So my point is what can you do to help such guys? They obviously wont stay here for long (I would like time to prove me wrong though) and they had help from a start...It really depends on an individual how much is he interested in the game

BuzzerBeater has one giant flaw that makes it hard for new managers to judge which players are valuable: Potential is meaningless for older players. New managers will fill their team with 24 year old 2k salary players with Hall of Fame potential, because they think they're bound to be Hall of Famers or at least decent players.
