I definitely intend to keep this team together through the playoffs and beyond. It'll be tough to overcome home court advantage to win an NBBA title, but I'm hoping this team can make a good cup run and at least keep me out of relegation in this brutal conference.

You can win the cup by avoiding Bullish and not catching a bad road game vs NBBA team. I would also say that Delta 9 and ERG are also teams to be very wary of as they were the contenders for the cup last season.

Bullish has a very nice situation -- with a 3 game lead, he has a lot of flexibility with regards to the Cup. after this week, and especially when Bullish re-starts playing in his own conference, i think Bullish can only realistically hope to win two games a week. but that will be enough to getting him sniffing the Cup trophy, and if the rest of Great 8 continues to decimate themselves (only 2 games separate the number 2 and number 8 team -- quite amazing), then Bullish could well be in a position to not only win the Cup but also have HCA through the playoffs.
i wish i played this game half as well as AZ.

i wish i had two players worth five million or, for that matter, i had two million to spend.
you and TKI drew the short straws in Thursday's Cup matchups; next week, this week, it looks like Bullish and Tucumcari rolled snake-eyes.

$5,000,000 ?? In all my years playing this game, I've never had more than 2.2 mil ... & I didn't have it for long. What do you do w/ that much money ?? Buy an 18 yr old HoF trainee ... ? Build a mega stadium ?
Kudos to TKI for taking it to me. It seems to me that you (they) have a good enough team to make it to the Final Four, if not farther

i was just doing a little bit of scouting for the BM game tomorrow and took a look at the team's history.
in S.19, BM won the II.4 title. the next season he was in the NBBA finals -- and the season after he was NBBA champs. damn -- league champs in his second season.
S.22 made it to the B3 quarterfinals.
then came the rebuild -- squeaked by winning relegation in S.23. made the playoffs next two seasons, and then won a second NBBA title in S.26 -- and won the Cup in S.27
the amazing part to me is that AZ has not spent more than 1 million on a player in more than two years (may 2012).

Thanks. I definitely wasn't happy to see that my matchup this week was against Bullish, and was just lucky to have it on my home court so I could have a fighting chance.
