I agree with smedlock. I would also like to add that in look inside your guards need decent inside shot as well as they will take some inside shots. This isn't as important in low post.

I used both offenses interchangeably. you need good inside player, obviously.

and basically to play LI, you need a SF who can do everything really well (passing, shooting etc) and low post is slower in pace but its much better if you dont have a good SF.

so faster offense - Look inside - play it against weaker teams or teams that you have better gameflow against.
slower - Low post - stronger teams and try to keep the game tight. its very good if your an inside team. be sure to have a PF with bit of outside skills or else he will turn the ball over.

I played LP yesterday against my opponent. My team payroll is 88K, and his is 145K, so I was the heavy underdog. We both played normal, and I beat him 115-77....My team had 45 assists on 53 made baskets!! I would say that LP is pretty pass intensive :-)

Yeah, the 31 matched a career high for him. Surprisingly most of his shots wer mid range or outside shots...Very few inside shots, in fact the one weakness on that guy is his IS. I have been expecting a breakout game from my guys, and it finally came :-)

For LP you have bascially described my team, in for a good SF though right now though. I'll try this for a couple of games & see how it plays out & let everyone know how it goes.
I really hope this is right for LP, as it is the way I want to play, but noticed in B3 LP wasn't playing out to well. Infact one of the Finals 2 or 3 seasons ago & team play LP & got killed.
Thanks everyone for the comments!!!

Just found that game, I take back the comment, BC Torooo was the much better team & only won by 16.

I usually play LI and never thought seriously about trying LP...I'm doing ok with LI and i always loo for my bigs to be, al least, decent passers...That's not the case, however, with my best center who made his first carreer assist last week, after 1 and 1/2 seasons...:). Interesting point when someone stated above that passing is far more important in LP than LI...
Not throwing any new idea to this thread...just want to share that i'm learning a bit more from this game with this debate...

Cheers!
