Yea, the last playoff spot on the Great 8 side is very much up for grabs. Even though I'm in 5th currently, I control my own destiny and will be in the #4 spot if I win on Saturday. Then the winner of the second most important game you two will play over the next week would get the #3 seed.

As a Denver Nuggets fan, who has to constantly hear about him, I can tell you that it is definitely way over blown, but he is also an idiot sometimes and definitely not a leader. That isn't a problem for Houston though as they have Harden to lead them and Howard and Lawson can just ride his coattails and provide for the team. I can see you guys winning it all this year possibly. I like the trade for my Nuggets too though. They can now have Mudiay lead from the beginning and don't have as many distractions. We will also have a crap ton of money and space to work with for free agents next season (If anyone wants to come to Denver that is) and will have two-three picks in the first round depending on how protections work out. The Nuggets get the better pick between them and the Knicks, so I'm expecting another top 10 pick. Boo Knicks!

are you guys allowed to cut kostas (team option) and re-sign him after 20 days (off-season)? I thought the point of this trade is to save some budget and clear the path for mudiay

Definitely agree on that assessment of Ty's leadership. I can give a little more insight because I actually hung out with him in college a bit through some mutual friends and even in social settings he's super reserved and never seemed to want to be an alpha dog. UNC's third string point guard was his boy and from the way they acted, you'd think their roles on-court were reversed.

Either way though, he'll jumpstart Houston's offense... he's so fast, it'll be incredibly tough to contain both him and Harden on the perimeter.

I heard that harden's been trying hard but he's not much of a natural leader either. that's probably why they are bring back chuck hayes and jason terry
