Court level 1
Week 1 - 12 players - 0 ups
Week 2 - 12 players - 1 up (Mešinović)
Week 3 - 12 players - 1 up (Topalbećirević)
Week 4 - 12 players - 0 ups
Week 5 - 12 players - 1 up (Rukavina)
Week 6 - 12 players - 0 ups
Week 7 - 12 players - 2 ups (Petrović, Redžo)
Week 8 - 12 players - 1 up (Šušić)
I have a young trainee who is atrocious at FT (Zadro) and he still didn't raise his skill in 8 weeks, so the skill level is probably not a factor. Age most certainly is, because of six of my players who had ups in FT, only one is older, Petrović at 33, others are 25 and under.

Josh Laga'aia: 19yo, 6 weeks to pop (9-10 FT), level 3 court btw.
Yep, I think we can indeed rule out FT rating having an impact. The estimate of the benefit being 0.05 FT per week per level, with a gradual reduction based on age, also seems accurate.
High level trainers/youth trainers might be the cause of the quick 5 week pops that deviate from this. For the record, I have a level 6 in both (really trying to make Laga'aia a beast).
