I got relegated this season from RBBA, first league, to II.1.

Last season my team had an 13,6 average fouls for the entire season.
This season has 18,0 so far, even if the competition and the teams are not so strong like in the first league.

I also noticed an increased level of aggressiveness in my team. I changed only 1 player from my roster, a center.

I went through your roster and found this:
NAME	Fouls/48min	(15)	(14)
Ploiesteanu 1.77 2.30
Bonaccorso 4.76 4.21
Molina 3.3 2.34
Deplano 2.75 2.29
Spaggiari 2.84 2.84
Kalda 5.18 1.91
Negoitã 4.61 4.8
Tupo 4.93 4.91

(15)=season 15, (14)=season 14

Note that the only real spike in fouls/48 is for Kalda, and everyone else seems to be on par for how they fouled last season. From looking, though Kalda seemed to get more minutes in scrimmages than league play last season, which might just explain his increase (I'm not saying that's the reason, but it's something to think about). The same could be said about Molina.

Other than those two, everyone seems to be fouling at about the same rate as last season (Ploiesteanu is even fouling less!). I'd imagine over the course of the season, it will even out to be close to your average from last season.

Additionally, maybe you relegated from a league with dominant big men to a league where guards are king; or maybe the RBBA is full of nice players, and II.1 is full of aggressive buggers. Of course, I could be way off, and maybe I just wasted 10 minutes of my life I'll never get back. ;)

There is an old saying that you arent playing great defense unless you are fouling. You said he is now better in defense, maybe that is playing a role in how close he is playing is man.

There had to been some changes in ME that we are not aware. It simply different than it used to be.

Do you have any proof of this, or is this just wild speculation? Because I haven't noticed a bit of difference.

I think the fouls just make it more realistic...i think the engine should do random technical fouls and when i player gets so many they get suspended...that would make it even better

Tell me that when you're trying to train said player, and we'll have a nice discussion about it then.

I did train a player like that the last 3 seasons but not anymore. It was hard and it took forever to get him where hes at right now with abilities. Hes not my star player by salary but he does the best on my team so i consider him my star player. It is annoying when training these players because i think he could only average 23 minutes a game because of it but i now like his aggresivness because it seems to help my team. Hes the only guard on my team that isnt afraid to drive inside and he also is on top of my team in steals.

This is just something I noticed with one of my players. Same thing, always fouling out. I put him on the market & he didn't sell, put him on again & didn't sell. Once I started playing him in games he wasn't picking up fouls anymore. So I was wondering, & please give me your thoughts, if you have a player with Foul trouble & you place him on the market & doesn't sell, does this carm him down & thus plays without fouling? This is what seems to have happen for my player.

It doesn't seem very logical that a player will 'calm' down just by placing him on the market so i would say it's just a coincidence

i have seen normally fine players foul out against lucky fans so maybe playing weak opposition encourages players to gamble more and get more fouls

also dont forget sometimes you play against a player who can be super aggressive and also if they are a super driver then they draw even more fouls

honestly i dont know why dell doesnt foul more, he seems super aggressive to me any every time i play against him (several times now) he fouls someone out or injures them, maybe it is because he mostly plays against flatfooted pfs with dr of 4 or less so he doesn't need to foul
