Well that is why i suggested the tutorial before making transactions, buying or sacking staff and building arena. If you have a timer people know when to check again to use other features and wouldnt check every 10 minutes until getting bored and never come back.

In all seriousness, when I signed up to this game I got accepted and given a team within 15 minutes at the most, a lot quicker than some games I've signed up for. If a potential manager can't even wait that long for his/her team, they probably didn't have the patience for a manager game like this anyway.

I agree with that. I cant remember waiting more than 10 minutes to get my team (and immediately spend 100k on a 3k 30yold center!). So i am not sure this whole issue is actually a problem.

But i see somme other problems for newcomers. I think it is crucial to make life easier for them.

For instance, there are not given any clue on whats going on with their schedule/league. I may me especially dumb, but i remembered it took me some time to understand that i inherited the results of another team but not the players.

But, more important, i think no newcomers should never be affected 1/ in a division only full of bots (no interest) or 2/ in a division above League V (for France). Every season I see some newcomers in my DIV that quit after a few weeks because they get totally demotivated since they lose every single game by 60 points. Some try to compete, and it is even more tragic because they spend their money on useless oldies. And they quit.

I became a fan of the game because I started in a DV with other real managers and i managed to get a few wins or at least honourable losses pretty soon, after 2 or 3 clever moves on my roster. Then I started to learn the beauty of the game and reading the manual, not the other way round. You cant expect people to read the whole manual before they start and to undertsand right away that their best strategy is to wait till the end of the season to get demoted.

I dont see any reason why this affectation process cant be changed ? I would not care having bot in DIV instead of newcomers, it would not change anything !

(198519) Typical newbie effect... He say :" My team financial problem, xy player on move TL"
He buy 35-40k players but don't build arena.

I think give more money the new managers otherwise fast logout....

Sorry, but this would just support newcomers' lazyness. You would give them more money because they can't take 10 minutes to read through Game Manual and see what's important and what's not? Add the fact that players' prices on TL are 1/5 of what they were 6-7 seasons ago and you truly can't explain how a newbie is out of money before making even a first investment in his arena.

When I started, I payed 360k for a 23y old PF with inside skills on Proficient. That's how expensive the players were. If a newbie could survive 10 seasons ago with inflated prices, he can survive also now.

that is right, but current big problems

1) too expensive the arena build - could be a current price 50%
2) expensive staff bids
3) a newbie user buy weak player, that is error
all the more buying a new draftee max perennial allstar pot

my idea:
the starting money (350-400k) solely spending arena build or coach buying!
Don't be a newbie manager go to with the players TL in the first season.

just try it once
