Palermo was one of my best guys - trained him up from 18 years old. Nice to get him back at a decent price.

If I were you CLOGS, I would worry about the Chefs going Rambo and not about what Reston is doing.

I really want to come up with an appropriate semi-trash-talking counterpoint, because your team couldn't talk trash to Waste Management right now, but once I saw what that video was, it was all good. The frightening thing is that I heard the song probably a couple hundred times overall because it was pretty highly played back in the day, but I've never actually seen the video.

Okay, as long as there's a good reason for it. It just seemed odd to have the news page show a player coming into the league, not being dumped out of it.

I fully understand that the Piston's didn't field any type of competitive lineup tonight, but I've never held a team to a quarter where they didn't score a single basket. Only point given up was a free throw in the 3rd. I would have figured that was almost an impossibility.

Apparently 6333 teams have done it:

I mean it's kind of hard to brag about this given the low quality of the opposing manager but just to prove that it does happen... (49357256)

Wish we all lived in a world where buying a 32 year old player for roughly 1.75 mill was a decent price.

And that's the price you pay for not taking a lower team seriously in the Cup. Good luck the rest of the way with somebody representing us farther down the road.

I feel your pain. Or, more accurately, now that I know you won't have any reason at all to tank our game All-Star Week, I'll be feeling your pain in 8 days.
