The practice is like the form in other games such as hattrick

IMHO, a mediocre player with strong practice would be better than a a respectable player with awful practice. that is why it's so important

So pressing the save button doesn't actually save anything?

Started it up and all the work I'd done with the weighting factors wasn't there anymore.

so that's two bugs:

1) the ratings for inside shot and inside defense are reversed when imported;
2) the save button doesn't work.

That's all I've found so far.

When they get fixed, I'll try again. No point in working on something that won't get saved.

You can save your ratings in a text file somewhere, and paste them in each time you run Assist. Obviously not ideal, but at least you don't have to work things out fresh every time.

Assist! isn't being developed or worked on anymore by BB-Domenico. He started working on it before he joined the BB team and since than hasn't had time to develop it further. Read(751.60)

I like the tool, and it would be fine if it is developed futher. So I might help if possible
As for requirments:
* I develop with java for about 6 years
* half of the projects were with swing
* I have much experience with XML, in java I usually use dom4j for xml parsing
* SQL also much experience (nearly all projects are with it)
* at least two projects were with JFreeChart
Actually I don't have very much time, but I could find some, and also find some help
So if I could be usefull mail me

What version of Java are you using? I've seen that before when the version of Java was too old. I believe assist requires 1.5.
