I have been playing this game for a very long time, yet I only just noticed that there are PR Staff with no speciality.
Back in the day, and currently, I would buy PR staff with either Crowd Involvement (CI) specialisation, or National Appeal (NA)...and just didn't notice the 'none' possibility.

Now, I understand well the CI and NA specialisations and their values in regards to attendance, but can someone please tell me the 'value' of the PR Staff member who has neither? That is, if for example the CI staff has a 1.0 value for home games, and the NA staff has a value of 1.0 for away games, how does the PR staff member with neither, compare in value? Is it just a slightly less value for home or away games? Are there any statistics/values on the PR staff member?

I think you're approaching the problem from the wrong angle. The public relations manager helps sell more tickets for home games and more merchandise. Only the specialty has a slight effect on the outcome of games.

Yea...but given the massive drop in my attendance for my 2nd team recently, I am re-evaluating this value and the differences between 1 and 7.

I still can't fully understand the role of the PR. The whole season my fans are responding with 2 under the "I am familiar with the star players, and am not afraid that they will be transferred". I have never sold a player! But then again, I only had basic (2) PR. What is your experience with PR's and their responses in the Fan Survey?

Hey there, Redemption Monk.

I actually don't pay really any attention to the fan survey...never have. I open it up once every season or two just to see what they think. Maybe I should be paying closer attention to it, however, I haven't learned of enough info or stats to justify its importance other than a guide...a very rough one.

As for your observations regarding the 'I am familiar with the star players...' etc, I believe it is data accumulated over a longer period than perhaps you are measuring it...and again...I would take it with a grain of salt. But that is just my opinion.

Anyone out there live by the fan survey and wish to shed some light on this subject?
