Apparently I'm playing a Cup game and it also says it's a " National Tournament" game. I thought I'd be playing a scrimmage game. Can someone enlighten me?

The cup is your national tournament. One and the same. Every team is in their national tournament until they lose. Then they can schedule scrimmages.
