I think he would be better off as a PF. That DR/PA will be a problem, and his OD/ID will definitely need to be higher.

He would be a good PF just train his inside skills. The JS is always a good skill to have for a PF.

But look at that HOF potential. He could be more effective in terms of salary and performance looking like 11/6/9/8/9/8 14/14/14/9 than 8/6/4/5/2/3 16/16/16/7. Not only would he mostly be a 3 skilled donkey, but his salary would be unsustainable.

But it would be extremely hard to train the secondaries because he's so tall, otherwise I see where you're coming from :)

6'10 is not all that bad to train guard skills at. I got a trainee that will turn 20 now and he has guard skills looking like this:

Jump Shot: proficient ↑ Jump Range: awful
Outside Def.: strong Handling: inept
Driving: proficient Passing: proficient

JS, OD, DR and PA was at Average when i got him. The player in question in this thread though may be hard to get up to the levels another poster said would be nice as he has a looong way to go to that.
I would have started working on ID and RB asap and getting them up towards 9 then followed by IS.


Why do you work on ID and RB first ? Will IS get up faster due to high ID and RB ? Or defence is more important than offence skill?

I am training C/PF since season 19 , I train them ID , RB and IS in 3-week cycle ...

Another question: Should I train OD and Passing first for 6'10" 18 yo trainee? then train ID , RB and IS at 19 yo , huh?

6.10 isnt tall, i managed to get 6 jump shot pops on my 6.10 18 year old guy this season:D

do rebounding last man, you don't want his salary to spike. do ID first, then OD, then IS, followed by sme RB he could be great with a skillset of

9/7/9/8/9/8-/14/15/13/9-/8/8

that to me makes a great PF.......
