To me it's a pretty simple solution if you buy a player and he plays in a league game or cup game, you have to pay at least one week salary before firing him. I would hate to see something implemented that would prevent people from buying scrimmage scrubs and having to choose finances over game shape.That sounds like a reasonable suggestion. As a National Team manager, it has always been annoying me that players who take ages to train but are hard to support because of their salary get fired, end up on the TL for 500k and - because there are „cheaper“ alternatives, are almost always retired. If you have to pay one salary of that player features in a league game (which sounds more than reasonable), people would probably reconsider their strategies. And I also guess that prices for those players would also go up on the TL…So I‘m definitely in favour of something like a severance fee!
