Season 26 - Happy New Year

Associates to the U21 team:
Scout and trainer: GullyFire (Durham Wasps)
Scout and trainer: RonsoAdonai (JR Trojans)
Scout and trainer: arrows-king (Sheffield Arrows)
Scout and trainer: Mod-Zeus (The Myrmidons)
Scout and trainer: Morwood (Rouge et Or - Canada)
Room for scouts and trainers.

We are currently looking to recruit volunteers:

This Season:
With less depth this season we are hoping we can keep all our players at good GS so we can make a go of the tourney, thanks to all those managers who have trained players, I am very happy to provide support for training should you need it, feel free to drop me a game mail.

Roles:
Scouts: The U21 team uses scouts to look for new draft hopefuls, identify potential players and bring this to the team's attention. Benefits of being on the scouting team include not only benefits to the community, but it also gives you a greater knowledge of the English future players, which allows you to have your own shortlist of players you may wish to acquire for your own team in the future.
Trainers: Trainers are advisers; they are needed to help support managers who are new, or who are not experienced in training players in particular positions and need routine support. Training players is an art, balancing minutes, competitive games, injuries, salaries, league position etc. Having someone experienced in training players can help you avoid some of the pitfalls of training.
Transfer list watchers: We are looking for one or two people to keep an eye on the transfer list and keep the 'player ads' thread up to date with new listings of English players. This would include all English players as I am sure the NT coaches would appreciate someone keeping an eye on the older ones.

As a community it is important to work together to improve the state of the national team. A coordinated effort; pooling experience, talent and minds; is what we need as a community to take us from an average nation, to a significant force on the BB scene. This will benefit not only the national team but also your team as merchandising, training exemption on the overextension tax and other benefits come with having strong home grown English players on your team.

Finally thank you for putting your trust in me for the next few seasons for the team. I do not expect immediate results and you should not either, I must be honest when I say our current set of players are not well positioned to progress us very far in the international competition. I would ask you give me the space and time to grow a strong player base which can become more competitive on an international level.
