Ljubljana Hawks are pleased to announce the conclusion of an exceptional 2024/25 season in the Second Slovenian League — one that has set a new benchmark for the club and laid the groundwork for an ambitious chapter ahead.
The Hawks finished the regular season with a commanding 20–2 record, a performance that underscores the team's growing competitive maturity. In parallel, the club delivered its strongest ever showing in the National Cup, advancing to the top eight and demonstrating the ability to compete at the highest domestic level.
"This season proved that we belong among the best in Slovenian basketball. Twenty wins in the league and a top-eight Cup finish is not a coincidence — it is the result of hard work, belief, and a clear vision for where this club is going."
— Team Manager, Ljubljana Hawks
Looking ahead, the Hawks are entering a new phase defined by development and sustainability. The club has already moved decisively in the transfer market and draft, securing two high-potential young players who are expected to compete for first-team minutes and attract attention at the national level. Their arrival signals a clear commitment to building from within and developing talent that can carry the club forward for years to come.
The long-term vision is equally clear: establish Ljubljana Hawks as a permanent fixture at the top of Slovenian basketball, and ultimately earn promotion to the SKL — the premier tier of the game in Slovenia. Every decision made this summer — from personnel to preparation — is aligned with that goal.
"We are not content with where we are. We want to be in the SKL, and we are building the team and the culture to get there. The young players we have brought in are part of that vision — they are the future of this club."
— Team Manager, Ljubljana Hawks
Ljubljana Hawks would like to thank all players, staff, and supporters whose commitment made this season one to remember. The best, however, is yet to come.
