Algiukas Kostiukovas' big night for the Barangay 168 Spiders began with a couple of scoring in the Free-throw lane, but it was the burst in his step and explosion in his drives that really opened eyes on Saturday night.
"Confidence is through the roof," Kostiukovas said of the Spiders.
"It's not always gonna be pretty, we're not always gonna make shots, but defensively we can get after it and lock teams down."
Kostiukovas provided the offense in Deparo Caloocan for the Spiders. He buried 11 of 17 shots from the field, including a perfect 13 for 13 on the free-throw line, against the BC Kidapawan.
