Fuji Rising Sun Season 67 Division III.4 Champion

Tokyo, Japan -- The team had one goal this season: to win the championship.

They did it in such a dominating fashion only losing one game and miss a perfect 22-0 season. ''If you ask me if we were aiming for it, yes.'' owner Yo Chi said. ''we were angry that we lost last season because we missed the schedule so we give our group one more chance since we have a championship team.''

For the entire season, the team was (-) six figures in luxury tax penalties but didn't mind. ''it was management's fault, we owe it to the fans and players to win it this year.''

The team lost to Dynamic Dream Team when they opt to rest their dynamic twin-towers in anticipation of the back-to-back cup games that week.

''We thought we had enough, but they wanted it more'' GM Nicolo Maro said. ''it would have been a great feeling to finally get a 22-0 record accomplishment in all honesty.''

The team was really strong that they made it to the Top-16 of the Tournament only to lose to PPL team Bring It On (21 overall) 110-118. ''If we gave more effort that game, we could have defeated a PPL team. It's not often that a Division 3 team could beat a PPL team.''

No player averaged more than 25 minutes per game this year.

Arthes Cabrera and Eden Cabrillos were both allstar game starters and starting point guard Morty Encomio was a reserved all star this year.

Overall, the team felt the ''crunch'' on their finances but is more than happy to advance and compete in the higher leagues.
