VINCENTI ARENA — October 13, 2026
The Bayou Bengals saw their three-game winning streak come to an end Tuesday, falling 91–79 to Vincenti s.r.l. II despite strong performances from Christopher Coutaud and Morris Reaves.
Bayou kept things close early, trailing just 44–42 at halftime before Vincenti erupted for 34 third-quarter points to seize control.
Christopher "Unc" Coutaud led the Bengals with 30 points and 10 rebounds, while Morris Reaves added 22 points, including four three-pointers.
The Bengals dominated the glass 64–48, led by Marko "Polo" Stamenković's 18 rebounds and another 12 from newcomer Gualtiero Sanna. But Bayou struggled to capitalize, shooting just 34.4% from the field as its three primary big men combined for only 15 points.
Vincenti's backcourt proved decisive, with I. Quino and E. Mazziotti combining for 42 points.
"We won the rebounding battle, but we didn't win the game. You can't shoot like that, give up 34 in a quarter, and expect to beat a good team. We've got work to do."
The Bengals will look to regroup after their first defeat in four league contests.
