I create this thread a bit late but we have already started the work and the communication on the
official Belgian Discord (https://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr...). We encourage you
to join the Discord since it is a better way to share news or just to discuss and learn about Buzzerbeater! (to NT spies : there's no point in trying to join it, since you'll need an invitation to access it)
That being said,
I want to thank all the managers who voted for me (even if there was no competition ha ha). I know it may feel wrong to have a French manager leading the Belgium NT, right after winning the World Cup, and with the great pool of talented Belgian managers that we have.
But as stated before, I know and care for this team and Joe and Melarius are working hand to hand with me.
Joe will still be your preferred contact regarding the training and the players development.
We start the season as
the number one ranked country in the charts, like the pressure wasn't high enough!
The draw wasn't very kind with us for this first EC round and we'll face
tough competition. The schedule is the following :
-Hungary (Magyarország)
-Andorra
-Moldova
-Greece (Hellas)
-Bulgaria
-Ukraine
-Malta
Of course, we strive for the second round and the hope to keep the streak of medals going. But
European Championship is no joke! May the "beginner's luck" be with me.
We lost some players due to aging but there are also youngsters knocking at the door so the quality of the team remains the same.
Games will be discussed on Discord and I won't post that much here but feel free to ask questions or say whatever you like, still.
