How about encouragin a guy to train him as well as he can (get a trainer lvl 4-5) and make the player a franchise player. Having your own draftee/original player and training him into a stud helps keep interest in a game and just maybe if inexperienced managers werent 'advised' to sell their best prospect Canadian user base wouldnt fall that fast?

That could happen anyway but any new user that tries to learn to train on a stud will likely struggle, I made more huge training mistakes my first 2-3 seasons then I care to remember. Meanwhile the longer he waits to sell him the more money he'll likely end up losing.

If I was a new user knowing what I know now I'd put that player on the market pronto and take the cash to build faster.

I give people the option. I don't demand they sell. I just hope if they choose to keep the player, than at least train them correctly and not like the vast majority of wasted high-potential talent.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

You could be right in theory Morwood but I don't think that any of us are privy to the emails that Kumiko sends the owners of these players.

Also having talked with Kumiko she does run into a lot of lost opportunities with young prospects. New owners joining and then quiting in a few weeks ruining the prospect. Owner's saying that they'll train a young player instead of selling them and then completely ignoring the player. That happens far more often then it should.

This.

I am always willing + able to answer any training questions (or any other questions/discussions) about BB to a new or experienced manager. Training plans, minute distribution, game tactics, economy, arena, anything.

I don't do it because I have to. I do it because I want to retain players in the game and make Canadian players + teams stronger.

I'm sorry if I come off as demanding. I don't mean to be. I give a manager his/her choices and usually end any BBmail where a conflict between what is best for different parties by saying, "Do what is best for your own team. It is your choice and you are free to make it."

The trouble is, making no choice or making both a horrible choice for their own team and U21 for no good reason baffles me all too often.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

If you still want someone to give him a french version of your BB-Mail, I can. If so, what do you want me to say?

I know you mean well, but even in the forum post form suggested that you feel like that manager should sell this player and would be stupid to do otherwise. It is all about the choice of words. Also, I think that with decreasing user base I would prefer active user that will learn, even if costing a good prospect couple of pops, and then become a member of community, also drafting 3 players a season and possibly training another stud rather than having one player who may or may not end up being NT calilber. Just explaining what are they options, what are their priorities in this game and offer to answer any questions they have should be enough.

Division III.13

I have my prediction right here.
Heims Hackers over grizzlybears.

The grizzlybears have clinched HCA through out the playoffs.
Lester Koopmanschap is their leading scorer.
He only have a $12000 salary but has a 9 GS.
He plays PF.He averages 20.7 PPG.
By salary he is a backup but I guess he isn't one.
His best player was bought Afonso Chaves has played 3 games for the grizzlybears.
He is a $53000 SG.With 8 GS.
He has a 39000 salaried C with 8 GS.
He has a 33000 salaried PF with 8 GS.
He has a 28000 salaried SF with 7 GS.
His final starter was also bought a couple days ago.His name is Tan Runzhong.
He is a $25000 SF with 8 GS.

Heims Hackers have one player who is good.
It is former Headless Thompson Gunner Gavrilo Jerimic.
He was leading the Naismith is PPG before this game.
Last game he scored 34 Points.
H has a 8 a GS and is a SG.
He has a $117000 salary.
he spends so much on Jerimic that he can afford probably only 2 other guys over 10000 salary because that is what he has.

Finally my upset is Big Easy over Heims Hackers which would make a tough game for the grizzlybears.
But I don't expect that to happen.
15% chance and first they have to beat 4 point play.
I only show players with 10000+ salary.
This is their lineup:

Salary Pos GS
36000 C 9
32000 PG 9
12000 SF 8 Injured 2 weeks
11000 PF 9

His Point Guard should be able to get the ball inside to his Center

Percentages to promote:

Heims Hackers 50%
grizzlybears 40%
Big Easy 7%
4 Point Play 3%

I would just offer him help fop when he needs it.

I emailed to see if he would sell my the player and he replied that he wants to train him. Which is fine if he follows through. It's a good sign that he checked in again, always good to add users.
