Well done guys; two good games with one last hoorar tonight. Will Bevers and his CROCKERS return to Div II after a rest and rebuild in DIv III or Will SchaBoom's time to shine in Div II finally arrive? It's sure to be a nail-biter! Again, best of luck boys and may the best team win!!!

BTW the results for the 'Who is going to win the Div III.3 Championship' are in and it seems it's a landslide. Bevers' CROCKERS getting all the votes (except...wait for it...a single vote to...the Moorditj Magick lol). How good are teams at predicting the result. At about 7pm tonight we will know...

regardless of the result it has been a good series ! i to have had the pain of losing in 3, a few seasons ago i was the better team i had HCA and was one win from the ABBL but lost the 2nd and 3rd game for various reasons. it pretty muched forced me into the 4-5 season rebuild im currently on.

Well, it's half time and I'm thinking you've got the tactics spot on, Bevers. I'm assuming you've been using Patient as the decoy and have gone inside this time??? Hopefully SchaBoom can have a big second half...

With a little over 3 minutes remaining in the third I'm interested in two things: firstly, how long before SchaBoom loses one of those bigs with both being on 5 fouls? Losing one or both will be disastrous. Secondly, will we see a massively one-sided final quarter by the GC Vikings which has occurred in a number of Aussie finals' games. That is, a team wins the first three quarters only to have anexplainable scoring dry-up in the final term. Hopefully neither of the above occurs and we have a tight finish. Good luck to both of you...

patient was a decoy in the second game yes but im not playing LI. Im interested to see his tactics as i played a 3-2 zone

Well congrats Bevers, hard too say as I am gutted right now, loosing 100k a week to try and match you with bigs but the whole time my smalls just couldn't cover your lot.. I hope to see you make a play in DII, I am fuming that URMUMMAs beat me just to go to DII last season and totally tank..

Well guess a firesale coming up for me but Matty, won't be ditching the smalls so you will have plenty to encounter next season..

...Bevers, I wonder how it would have turned out if he'd gone RnG or Motion like you no doubt predicted. Having said that though, his offensive tactic of using Patient also fell into your 3-2 hands. Given that Plasier would take more shots under a Patient offense it worked out remarkably well. I'm shocked at how many fous the Vikings racked up and how quickly but now that I have ssen the tactics it kind of makes sense. That is, he played a slow game which, because Plasier would shoot more than not, meant that the Vikings' bigs would have to take more shots on account of your 3-2 defensive tactics. Given that the Vikings didn't 'choose' an inside offense mean that the bigs weren't 'offensively' minded and as a result, not ready to play their A-game. I also wonder if Vikings' bigs having to play with 5 fouls each for the entire last quarter meant they were more cautious and defensively not 'on'?? Great game guys.
