Perhaps I worded it wrong I spoke about the league in itself, as alluding to competitions in the general sense of it.

Don't mix utopian teams with the 'real' teams in any competition that is my point, thank you.

Very understandable... I too am not that proficient in expressing my though in English Language... maybe next time you can insert the Link from the Game FAQ or Manual on what the Utopian Teams are really meant to the game...

Your concern for the non-Utopian Teams seems understandable.... but including the Utopian Teams to the BBM will make the BB-World Ranking Competition be more balance and logical... that to give the Utopian Teams a different BBM Tournament... It kinda doesn't make sense... at least for some of us.

Please don't misinterpret my words, never have I said that it should be given a diferent BBM tournament for the utopian teams

What I suggested is that in the SAME tournament these utopian teams have their own tier where utopian team plays only vs utopian team.

Imagine

1st tier
2nd tier
3rd tier
4th tier
5th tier
6th tier
7th tier
.....
12th tier
Utopia Tier

The champion of utopia could still technically advance to the finals or any other stage to battle a 'real' team, altough only the champion would be able to do this

I started my utopia team just a few weeks after my "main" team and nowadays I'm feeling more confident about the future of my utopia team than of my "main" team's.

So if you asked which is my "main" team right now I'd answer my utopia team.

Not letting utopian teams participate in BB madness with the others only would make the utopia experience less interesting and give less incentive to owners keep their utopia teams, hindering one of the sources of income for BB development and maintenance.

And not to forget, most Utopian teams have a huge disadvantage in BBM because the competitiveness of Utopia. There is multiple 2nd division teams around my Utopia team's ranking and I even found some 1st division teams from the smallest nations. So getting one or two wins will be the probable result for any Utopian team besides top 2 divisions which will be in pretty equal playing field.

Yep, that's why I suggested ranking teams on salaries instead of WR. This way we will be competing on salary efficiency and team origin (major/minor/micro-nation/utopia) will not matter.

You can quite easily play around salary limits by just having low total salary when they are calculated. Rather than salary, they should count in the division the teams are playing in so 1st division teams would meet other 1st division teams, 2nd division teams other 2nd division teams and so on. At least that way every team would be financially equal enough for every team to compete.

Nah... First of all almost noone would try to play around for the sake of 100-200k additional profit imo. Second - there are many teams that decide to tank next season and are just sitting around in div I with 80k total salaries. They would have to be grouped together with teams with 600k+ salaries in case ranking is on division or WR.

Tanking is one of the plagues of this game so making it even less beneficial seems very good to me.

Probably it will be a good Idea if it will be just grouped according to their League's Salary floor for this first Season of Implementation... so that Tankers will still be at disadvantage and Promoting teams will find their additional income very useful...

the Season after that would be much better grouped using the swiss-system... anyways... whatever the BB will implement in the end... it all will be good...
