In my opinion, accepting this trend would be a big mistake. Okay, we might've not gone under 40,000 users today but if we don't do anything about it, the situation will only become more severe and we'll start losing players at a very high rate. The more users leave the more game will become boring which will cause experienced players to lose interest in the game and leave it, which also means that many supporters will leave and that would mean less money for the game creators. And then the moment when BBs close the game due to lack of money and interest in the game won't be far. In the forums, the decrease of interest has been obvious in the last few seasons and we've reached a point where only a few people write regularly in forums.

When the world is heading towards casual gaming on smartphones, maybe BB should go to smartphones as well. I believe that if BB would have a facebook app and an app for Android and iOS, then popularity of the game would increase again. After all, a lot of people join the game daily, it's just that understanding it and mastering all the aspects of the game is so difficult that many players leave it before even seeing how wonderful BB is. Simplified version of the game that would be accessible on smartphones would surely increase the amount of users that stay with the game. Making the game mobile would of course be a huge task and definitely take a lot of time and work but in my opinion, it's the only thing that could stop the decay of BB.

I think what happens is that their login date gets adjusted to get rid of one time logins more quickly.

As someone who had served as a GM for a very long time I can assure you that no user has ever had to wait three weeks for their team to be accepted. If anyone ever has a friend or relative claiming that they're still waiting for a team after three weeks , it's because their application was rejected. That also means that a rejection message was sent from BB to the (fake) email address they inputted when attempting to signup.

GMs get a notice whenever a signup has sat in the signup queue for longer than 24 hours and it's then immediately handled. As of today, I'd estimate that most signups are handled within a few hours which means that users never have to wait more than one day to get their team.

I'm sorry that this post was off-topic; I just wanted to clear that up.

thanks dude..can u explain whats the reason behind why its impossible to get a team immediately? from my prof marketing view i can say u lost sooo much user in the first 24h ( even in the first 3hours ) for example if u uploading partypics on a website...the internet kids are faster as ben johnson in his prime

i dont know how often the usernumber is uploading on the national foren page but in germany it looks like there r under 1 new user per day...and that is creepy

thanks

Why does unlocking a team has to be done manually anyway?

and the winner is....we r under 40k dudes

we r all know that bb is oldfashion like a horseless carriage on a german autobahn ( dont be jealous world :p ) but the good thing is, the new tab/ smartphone generation is big enough to handle the site fine enough without being app prepared

my question..is it possible to offer bb in the appstore as a link?

i believe that bbs biggest "problem" is that the ordinarily guy didnt know that bb exist

:)

Well that is sad....
Yes, that is true, ordinary people dont´t know that buzzerbeater exists, but that´s why you can invite your friends. And if you have a website you can always advertise it.

Anyway, i am pretty sure that buzzerbeater will come out of this so called "slump" and we will be able to see more and more new people flowing in. :)
