Singapore National Tournament 4th Round
Shocking matches on the Singapore Cup floor.
(34) II FuTureSG 95 - 76 SingSing82 II (25)
It seems like FuTureSG put in much more effort than SingSing82 that led to the downfall of SingSing82. Crunch Time really works but it definitely will affect your future matches!
Singapore number 1 team Shohoku Backers lose to Bobbleheads. This was very suprising as Shohoku was standing tall at the brim of the big 8 in SBBL while Bobbleheads is struggling at the bottom of the Great 8 in SBBL. Why did Bobbleheads win? Effort level was higher in terms of Bobbleheads as compared to Shohoku Backers. It is a huge lose for Shohoku Backers as he could clinched the Tournament Cup from the standings. Probably he wanted to concentrate in SBBL and we might see a decent finals in SBBL. Good luck Shohoku and Bobbleheads!
slinger overthrowned a SBBL team named cheesecakee, it was pretty obvious slinger send a trainee/bench team for the match. This may help train the trainees but cost him a shot at the Singapore Cups.
Xavis vs Compassvale United, an exciting match. Compassvale United won the game by clinching more offensive rebounds ad defensive rebounds... Xavis shots were flying all over, missing too much 3 pts shots paid the price for him. Score: 83 - 112
Angel & Devil 152 - 157 PhantoMech, another SBBL team eliminated. PhantoMech proved to be a force not to be reckon with after battling into OT. He managed to put Angel & Devil to where they belong. PhantoMech SG, T. Cordier was not suprised for the win over Angel & Devil. He was having the best form and clinched shots like how Kobe does it. kudos to T. Cordier
Best Match was 38 II Singapore Slashers 109 - 108 Singapore Showstoppers I 9
Things were leveled when 16 seconds left on the clock. (108 - 108) But Ahmed Mobin from Showstoppers tried to be ZERO by commiting a foul at 0.1 seconds! Marco Antonio Zahonero was brought to the freethrow line and 1st ball thrrew MISS! The crowd went NUTS... 2nd shot Marco SCORED! 109 -108
Ahmed Mobin should be fired! :P
Man of the match Marco Antonio Zahonero for withstanding the tremendous pressure!
This might also mean bad news for Slashers as Showstoppers coach mentioned that Slashers might be using Crunch Time.
Anyway, the battle between two Singapore has ended. Nice match!
Displacement lost to Requiem of Dream 66 - 84... I was quite happy the results as i lost by my own judgements. I was expecting Rae to play more on inside focus for offense. But i was wrong of course! He used Motion instead! Well Rae, nice plannings you had! Haha... Furthermore, motion should not be used for my team...
But overall, it was a great lesson for me and my team. Both teams player shaked hands after the match and rivary of Rae and Nyx will began as they face each other on 10/4/2011 6:00:00 PM .... All the best bro...
