Nice first win YC. Looking at results so far I think the key game is actually Macau. NZ hasn't looked that strong so far.

Faint hopes....I will qualify for the second round...This was the 1st game I could start Wakatsuki, and Wow!! What a difference. Now I have a week off and then Macau which I am not stressing unless they CT me. So I have two training updates before that one...I just need some good pops and great GS and we will be mixing it up in the second round.
Gameball goes to Wakatsuki and Ikouga....Stunners boy(Ekiguchi)played huge minutes due to Kanausuku's injury. Got to give some love to Masuku who wasn't on the team last season but is balling now. And last, 19 yr old Shidehara came off the bench for 2 minutes and popped his NT cherry. he will start at PG next week in the scrimmage...This kid is crazy good...

BTW...Next weeks scrimmage is for the U-20s..We will be playing Peru..I will have a 9 man roster with some 19yr olds getting the nod...should be great fun..

Loving reading this. I have trained a lot of guys but he is special. 19 combined OD/ID at just age 19 and a few weeks is special. By the time he is in his third U21 season I hope he will be a world class U21 stopper with something like 16/9 OD/ID. Have we ever had anyone like that on the U21 before? He has his flaws but every week he gets better.

Wakatsuki really was amazing what great shooting.

I thought we had a slim chance because we can't catch Iran, Taiwan or Singapore which means NZ, Macau and we are fighting for 1 spot. But beating NZ is big.

Just a question, any idea on why Matsumoto played so few minutes? Fouls?

This is p**sing me off. He never had a problem with fouls until recently...

Yeah...Malice...that was weird lastnight....What I don't understand is why was he subbed out when I always play LET THEM PLAY(I have total confidence in the U-21 bench) and it still subbed him out. What was crazy, it was like the coach was protecting him...For example: he got a flagrant foul with 3:06 left in the 1st Q and stayed out until the end. But don't worry...Give him the juice the next two weeks, I want him to go buck on Macau

BTW...Look at that O Flow...nobody in the Asain U-21 is rocking what we have...How many teams can bring a tremendous passer off the bench while starting a wondrous and a tremendous...Crazy I tell you..The managers now are light years ahead from when I was U-21 coach back in the day...
