(This is going to look like a very poor excuse:)

I don't have the link, and the players age has been altered (I believe last season) to a somewhat more normal age. But I bet JuicePets can remember this guy I am talking about...

Sorry, my fault. If a bot-team gets replaced by a new manager the better players get to the TL and if not sold they get retired. Along with the other players of the former team.

Personally I think there should be a limit like 45 or something.

I think it should be written into the code that there is a random process of retirements amongst older players. Just a suggestion.

sure, good plan.
and trow in that randomly players of any age decide to stop playing basketball at any given time to start golfing or so.

I bet everyone will love that!

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

Owners tend to get attached to their players, and some of them seem to insist upon continuing to pay the long past the point they contribute any value to their team (see Scalabrine, Brian). We've decided that it's really up to each owner to decide at what point they're on longer willing to keep somebody on payroll, given that it's more fun that way.

Did I mention Keith Van Horn's last contract?

16 real years later and it starts to be awkward to see 80+ years old players in some rosters. Is there any player reaching 100 years old already?
