Don't worry, i have the same SG with equal JS, JR, and IS like yours and he can't score either. I don't think passing has anything to do with scoring.

I would personally think that it's the low Inside shot fault in our cases. Also, you might want to try to change offensive tactics to see if any of them makes him score more.

I have a very similar SG with less IS and a little more JR. The difference seems to be our team's passing abilities. My PG is very good at it, apparently even my SF is better then your SG in passing. And check out his scores.

@ Eri: I saw somewhere that LI uses a lot the IS of the SG. If you use it, like I did, we may be reaching a conclusion here.

@ eastendboy: Wow man, 50 shots in a game??? As far as salary is an indication, he seems to be a lot better. The problem with my guy is that he is indeed very bad in his secondary skills(I am paying for my errors as a beginner)

Well, yea, Zelmenis is a little better. His JR and OD are +3 and DR +2. The rest is about the same. I don't know how competitive your league is, but since you're second in your division I figured you have a solid SG in comparison to the other SGs in your league.

Of course tactics plays a big role here too. With patient my SG gets the most shots because he is simply the outstanding scorer in my team. Maybe you can try that out. I think LI or LP does not fit to an SG like our ones because they will focus to get the ball inside and turn the ball over because of their lack of passing skills instead of shooting. Thats what have experienced.

M2M defense is the best D against Base offense which is a slow offensive tactic. I still think his a great player but with Motion or Princeton or Inside isolation offenses there could be better shots for the SG to take? At the first glance it seems that those tactics (if SG is wanted to participate more) would suit best for Ag. Dimitrios Ninja Turtles because the team seems to have pretty good players at C/PF positions. And then again, it pretty much depends which defense is assumed to be played against.

Just to make a correction, base offense is not a slow offensive tactic, it's normal. Patient is the slow offensive tactic.

My PG has strong passing. But is it that important when we are talking about three point shots? All of my usually starting players have passing between average and strong and rarely 3 point shots are results of an assist.

Wow...Passing is very important. Passing is a multiplier for any given shot. Just last week. My SG took a JS(same spot) and missed, the ball was passed by my PF(average passing). The next time down he hits the shot because the ball was passed to him by my PG(wondrous passing). I would say that if you want him to shoot better(everyone on your team) I would upgrade to a better PG..

I had one PG with huge passing(can't remember now, but was over tremendous for sure). Those really were Kallitsis golden days. But now I am training some PG's for profit. I think that I have to try and see which tactics would favour my big men, which are the best members of my team.
