Yeah I understand, atleast you have some national players lol, it is kinda weird for me to have all different players from diff countries. I guess I should scout so I can get some National players.

If I were you, I'd sit tight for a while. By your own admission, you've made a ton of transfers recently, and unless you can make a major upgrade at any position, it's not worth the effort to simply change nationalities. Train away for a season, and wait for a chance to improve one of your non-training positions. If, when that time comes, there's a USA player who fits your requirements and is priced evenly with a foreign player, pick the USA guy. Otherwise, it's not that much of a difference.

As a young team, you should be more interested in improving your team and arena than hoarding local players. Once you get into the higher divisions and start to really feel the number crunch due to salaries, the merch bonuses for local guys helps quite a bit.

Oh right, do you guys think i should sell some of my players 1 by 1, and try to get some american players with there similar skills?

What you can do is to buy 2 scrubs who are Americans, mainly for the GS purposes. Well, as far as I can tell, you're doing a great job maintaining a good GS, but managing GS with 12/13 players might be easier. It's really up to you though. I have 3 national scrubs (2 of them are my draftees) so that it boosts my merchandise a little.

Do you really notice a difference here? The rules seem to hint that this doesn't have an effect.

From the Manual:
Merchandising income comes from your fans buying team apparel. Jersey sales are affected by a combination of factors. One factor is whether you have a winning team. Nobody likes to wear the jersey when you're losing, do they? Other factors include how many domestic players you have on your team, and also how many were drafted by your own team, as fans like supporting local players more than imported talent. This is weighted by the overall skill of the local players, so stocking your team with local bench warmers won't do you much good.

My local scrubs are all draft picks, and from time to time, they get garbage minutes of training. Every little bit helps ;)

Oh yeah and samurai tungi thank you a lot I know ur suggestion failed but atleast you tried, Idk if u think this is smart, but what i do for gs is buy 1 or 2 scrubs(salary doesnt matter) that cost like 1k in Tl,have them play scrim, then fire them(or sell if you can) before economic update so i dont have to pay for them, thats the cheapest way to get good gs. :) please comment back or gimme a ball if u think its smart...

Haha no problem. Well there was a degree of "fail" but it nevers says having scrubs from the same nationality doesn't boost the merchandise at all, so there's a tiny tiny "not fail" in my advice...(hopefully :P).
Well if you're just buying 1k scrubs and firing before the economic update, and buy another ones after the economic update, it doesn't really make you save a lot of money. Think about it, if you have 1 k scrub and you fire him. After the economic update, you pay $1000 to get another 1k scrub to make a replacement for the scrub you fired the previous week. The net income is +/- $0, so really, it doesn't make much difference in my opinion (unless the scrub you've bought has like $5000 salary).

True, perhaps when involved in the cup matches, some decent players for a cheap price could help. I usually play most of my best players in the league games, so I mostly have the scrubs for the cup games, which kinda worries me sometimes.
