The battle was really fierce but I really wanted AKL on my team.


Cool tandem with Ong Yi Ying at PG. Should be fun to watch.

Singapore Showstoppers acquire AKL

After an intense bidding war involving Singapore Showstoppers, SG Young Guns and NEWBak Ku Teh Kings, Singapore Showstoppers finally landed their man Ang Kok Loong.

Team manager jem92 was overjoyed, "Yeah, I'm trying to bring together more Singapore players. Hopefully they will have the chemistry to perform together."

Wang Xiangjia backed the move and encouraged his team to go for AKL. "AKL is a good-calibre player with NT experience. I think this is a good direction that the club is heading. The bidding was intense but I told my boss not to give up."

Equally pleased was Ong Yi Ying, "I was very nervous when we faced competition for AKL as I was really looking forward to playing alongside him. Now that the chance is here, I'm confident we'll combine well."

AKL, himself, seemed eager to get back into the SBBL. "I believe I belong in this league and I will do my best for Singapore Showstoppers. It may take some time for me to get used to things but I'm sure my teammates will support me. Last but not least, I would like to thank my old team Flyer sonic and wish them all the best."

With this current team, its almost sure that its unable to win any trophy. player salary too high, lack of one more player to completion. So this year champ should be between you, cpu and Ben. haha
