My opinion on mutal TIE requests? Well, no one forced you to send them a mutal TIE request, and no one is forcing you to still play TIE. A mutal TIE is just good strategy, and I don't think the BBs need to enforce it. How about "Lets both play Run n' gun to get more points?" the BBs wouldn't step in there, would they? Just my 2 cents

That's a great idea! Already placed in suggestions forum? With an extra feature of mutual 2-3 zone for gaining extra fans if possible please.

tbh, if one requests a TIE, that means you are willing to loose.. otherwise you wouldnt suggest it, since you're anyhow in a bad situation (e.g. low enth.).

You can also see it the other way around, go tell him, that you ll play TIE for sure and hope he ll play TIE too and then play normal (which would be rather gay.. but hey, if he doesnt respond..) and go for the free win, he can't complain, since there wasn't an agreement.

simple

I think after this thread, Stogey23 deserves some "funniest mofo on BB" award or something.

Re-reading the thread, it's never going to get old seeing people fall for this joke!

Ok - I will come out of my self imposed silence.

What if the person you are requesting the mutual TIE with doesnt read or understand the language you are sending the message in?

Great thread - I like the way someone steps in and doesnt know if its serious or not, then someone posts to comment on the underlying sarcasm running throughout the thread... then someone gives a deadly serious answer... then someone like me just comes in and says something to keep the thread going... who will respond next?

a) someone taking the thread seriously
b) someone pretending to take the thread seriously but who understands this is a wind up
c) someone who knows its a wind up and adds a serious comment to lead everyone to believe he is taking it seriously
d) someone who still cant work out if this is a serious debate or not and is posting to try and gain further responses to work out if indeed it is serious or not.
e) Juicepats

If someone doesn't read their mutual TIE email, they should be banned. Not reading is the same as illiteracy and all illiterates should be shunted into darkened rooms and made fun of.

If they don't understand the language it is written in, they should be suspended until they learn the language, which should always be English since everyone knows English is the only true language on this or any other planet.
And to answer your query, I am : a) someone taking the thread seriously.

I could not agree more with this statement.

Ignoring mutual TIE requests is ruining Buzzerbeater. I hope the BBs step in with some solution to force people to reply.

I could not agree less.

While I've yet to receive or issue a mutual TIE request, I fail to see how/why:

a) Buzzerbeater should put something into place that ensures your ability to better milk the system.

b) How they would put something like this in place when not everyone playing the game is as enthusiastic or active as some of us are and might not even check their emails, etc. in time to answer.

As the previous poster stated ... the advantage of not being the guy issuing it is not having to answer. Just because a salesman may think the car he wants to sell me is the greatest car ever and he tries desperately to convince me of that, doesn't mean I have to buy it.

Awesome! Our first celebrity appearance on the thread! I knew it was only a matter of time.

Hey Ice, love your work on L&O SVU. Is Christopher Merloni really as nice a guy as I've heard?
