I don´t want the merge. I´m trying to add users to my country. After some campaigns we are almost twice. I'm teaching to those new teams.

That's great to hear for your country, get to 100 and you'd be completely out of the target group. I think there is no hope for that in Japan. Seems we are dwindling away slowly.

I wonder if there is some middle ground. Maybe an opt in process by country so that the communities that are strong and growing can stay independent while the ones that need more competition can come together.

There are many options. That's the big problem. I don't see an answer in the near future.

I was originally against it but have slightly warmed to the idea. I think if we set a deadline quite far into the future where if the number of users don't rise to a certain number then the merge happens.

Say in 3 seasons time if we haven't got over 25k users then the merge takes place

I think the middle ground could of been the second team option - I for example would have bought a second team in a small nation like Japan or South Africa, or maybe one of the carribean/middle america countries. If this would have brought the same number like Utopia it would have been a 100% boost in micronation population.

Back in the day, when we had 100 users in Austria everything was awesome (communitywise). I think 100 should be the minimum requirement for a nation to stand alone.

In addition to that some countries should of been shut down immediately - I think nations that never had more like a full DIV I can be shut down without further notice.

The problem is that so-called "micro-nations" are very different one another. The situation in a country like Colombia where you have 60 users and a competitive league is very different than in a country where you find many bots in the first league

Once again i'll argue my own cause. There are 8 countries playing in Africa. Most of them have less than 10 users (13 in the biggest). Every user here wants BB to merge leagues into one african league but wants to keep the NTs like they are

For other continents, things are for sure more complicated...

Please let's not wait too long for the BBs to take a decision ! Maybe Africa could be a "test" area ?

In a 1st step, I do not want all African championships to be merged, but only the tournaments.

They'll merge both league and tournament or do nothing

Are you having fun in a league with 2 other users (that did not connect to the game for more than 3 weeks) ? Winning 10 championships and 7 tournaments in a row ?

Sorry to sound harsh, but your league/country needs to be shut down. Is winning the finals game by 106 points fun? If so, you can play 2k1x and cheese your way in the simulation modes.

no needs to merge, they've just to link the income to the strenght of every league. They've done it with the tv contract, well, let's continue on this way. Is really bad to see "1 in country and 2000 in global"
