There are suggestions earlier in this thread from uflorin and BB-Domenico, among others

I changed my latest quotes with these. However, they are just my opinions, of course. They have not been radically changed, just implremented a suggestion from BB-Domenico.

For some reason, my pimp center looks lousy with these. Perhaps too much focus on jump shot for inside guys

Actually I didn't put too much on jump shot for centers, and I only got to that after some suggested it. Might lower it but if I do it will only be by a very little, from 3 to 2, after all, centers do score.

take a look at this link, if you wish.

Also, if you don't mind, BB me with the stats for your player, I might try to eyeball him to see if he's really off from how I would evaluate him.

How does Assist keep track of evolution? If we save the file under the same name all the time, it is going to overwrite the old one...

Personally, I add the date to the xml file when saving (i.e. "cbbpproster_26oct.aspx"). I am unsure if this is necessary, but I've done so to be safe.

I'm doing the same thing but it actually doesn't matter. The last file magically has my two dates in it.

basically you have to work them out by yourself — when I released the current version of a!, the game was so new I didn't feel like "imposing" my view of the universe on anybody else... ;) you have to come up with your own parameters, or you can use "mine". (the missing skills are 0's; stamina and free throws can be set to your liking)

pos -- skills with factor 2 -- skills with factor 1 -- skills with factor 0.5

PG -- JSH HND PAS ODF -- RNG DRV ISH -- REB
SG -- JSH RNG PAS ODF -- HND DRV ISH -- REB
SF -- JSH ODF IDF ISH -- REB DRV PAS -- HND RNG BLK
PF -- IDF ISH REB -- JSH BLK DRV PAS -- HND RNG
C -- IDF REB ISH -- BLK PAS JSH DRV -- HND RNG

The problem with this is that you can't compare different positions for the same player since the weights do not add up to the same total for each position.

yes, C and PF are "almost" the same, tho I prefer my center to have markedly defensive traits.

Aren't they exactly the same, unless the order of appearance in the list changes the weight?

You just have to do what it says. Right click on that link and choose "save link as" or whatever it says for you. Choose to save the file in the xml folder ( for me e:\spel\BB\assist\xml). After this I can see my roster in the Assist program (or a! as some like to call it). And as a side note, I'm a windows user.

So, can anyone tell me this? I want to see how my players evolve. Can Assist show that to me? I am really new at this game. Hattrick gave me the link and I decided to try this game.

Can Assist work in a similar way as HAM for hattrick (showing me the changes from last week) ? I have not played BB for a week yet, so I do not know how I can check what my training has done.

Thank you and any help is welcome.

Double-click on any skill and a little evolution graph will pop up.
