I don't have much to say on this thread that hasn't already been said as I think both options are good: you want a 5+ trainer but if you can't find one that has a low enough wage and doesn't end up in a bidding war, selling to someone who does should give you good money too.

BUT! BUT! I cannot believe what this guy just said!
the best aussie sf in the world wazza (6863683) only has a $84k salary

So apparently, going 1-12 in one of the most important games of his career is good enough in your opinion to call him the best small forward in the country??? Only getting 9 minutes in the Asia-Oceania cup final is enough for you to say he's the king of the 3 position??? The heck am I reading...

For reference: (45886026) and (19532)

Sorry for going off topic. But that was something I had to get off my chest.

hate 2 correct u first choking in 1 game or even an entire finals series doesnt make u a loser, just ask lebron

second that wasnt the biggest game of his career if u dont believe me ask koop

(32426138) amazing game overall but especially check the clutch factor

ill clarify a bit tho

he is probably the best outside sf in oz

but the team is going inside so there r better inside sfs putting him lower on the order

wolph had some maths thing here again and was ranting about multipliers again showing how he doesnt understand maths but i cant find it probably was deleted by some gm as it was such a travesty to numerators everywhere

if an 18yo is 100% of max training speed
& 6'0" is 100% of max training speed on outside skills
& a lev 7 trainer is 100% max training speed

& under ideal conditions u can get 15 pops a season

changing the trainer level from 7 -> 6 is still 100% x 100% x 98% = still 15 pops a season

& i cant tell u a single oz trainer that has a lev 7 trainer except teams that r totally tanking

even in the abbl the ave income is 50-100k no1 can afford a lev 7 unless u r a chinese farm team

lol

first i had 2 give u a ball 4 that essay

i dont have data from crowdsourcing but did have stuff from moutlinho, polish nt & coach parrot all suggested it is like 2% per level

it isn't just an academic debate the numbers make a massive difference

if u r right & lev 7 = 100% & lev 4 = 80% then lev 4 is rooted

but if the others r right & lev 7 = 100%, lev 6 98%, lev 5 95-6% lev 4 95-92% then it is way different

& 2 make it worse the other factor is exactly as u say, cost

using a lev 4 trainer who cost $20k 2 buy & 15k a week replaced every season over 5 seasons =
(20,000x5)+(15,000x14x5) = $1,150,000

using a lev 7 trainer who costs $1,000,000 2 buy & 50k a week replaced every season over 5 seasons =
(1,000,000x5)+(50,000x14x5) = $8,500,000

$8.5 million!!!!

& he isnt even close to finished after 5 seasons

look at the current cost of players & tell me what player is worth that?

Level 7s train FASTER than lvl 6s, and so on. :/ Saying that lvl 7 trains the slowest is just silly :/
