I dont think it works that way.

You would be making less money if you do that.

Their is only so many LT you can sell in each div.

I think in div 4 you can sell around 2700 LT at $18 (i could be wrong).

So I have 14k Bleachers and 7k LT. I am demoting this season so I will be lowering my ticket prices probably... Or.... What would the outcome be if I completely overpriced my Bleachers and then gave a low price for the LT? Would I sell very few bleachers but in turn almost sell out LT or what are your thoughts?

Example:
Bleachers- 14$
LT- 18$ (the minimum)

Without commenting on the rest of the thread, I vaguely remember reading somewhere that the way attendance worked was that there was a certain price fans were willing to pay to go to the game (so, for example, you could easily sell 20k tickets if the game allowed you to set a $1 ticket price), and that they would buy the most expensive seat under their maximum. With that said, the $14 bleachers probably are not going to be extremely popular, and won't recapture much of the money lost by fans who won't pay $18 for lower tier.

I haven't really gone through demotion myself, though. My initial thoughts would be to drop the bleacher prices low to try to rake in a whole lot of fans willing to pay $8 rather than a smaller amount to pay double digits. I would imagine that dropping the prices as low as possible would at least allow you to get a fairly stable gate income and not end up leading to a problem if you try to go higher and overshoot.
