Hey guys an example in our Lubnan League there is only 6 Users and 3 of them including me are active, i'm 100% with the merging of nations but keeping the flag is a must.
Plus any suggestions guys about whom might change our Lubnan name to Lebanon it's more accurate.

This has been an ongoing discussion as i can see and i'm very late joining in to give an opinion. I haven't really read everything that has been discussed thus far so take this as it is (some of these ideas may have been mentioned elsewhere) from a very old manager who's been here for around 25 seasons in what is now a micro-nation .

Merging micro-nations might improve the competitiveness between teams. I'm not against the general idea of it. That being said, representing your country and working to improve our NT and U21 teams is essential to our love for the game. Any solution has to:

a) keep the NT and U21 teams as they are. It doesn't matter if we will never be able to beat larger nations. We accept that reality.
b) keep the steady flow of young talented draftees in each country based on the flag of the players drafting the player i.e. Each of the draftees for a particular team should be in line with the nation of the team that drafted them. Same thing goes with the names of the players. They must be local. I know this presents some coding issues, but shouldn't be too difficult to overcome.
c) Try to put the teams from the same country in the same leagues in lower divisions. That means grouping teams from the same country in the same leagues within the respective division as long as it's possible during the initial merger as well as attepting to put the teams in "local" leagues within a particular division during the process of promotion/relegation.

I think implementing these solutions keep the best from both worlds: Increase competitiveness. Keep the national pride going.

This BB GM-ers have crazy ideas these days..

Yes, they really need to stop trying to fix problems.

Why is the existence of micro-nations a problem?

Seriously? You've been in this thread for a while. You must already know the answer to that question.

And really I'm getting tired of your vanilla comments; and Walmart. That's a false analogy. Merging USA with Canada would be a Walmart kind of thing. Merging Japan and Korea (just an example, not a suggestion) is more like merging two corner shops that are awash with as much money as Walmart.

Dude... such an angst-filled response to a simple question. I know that *you* perceive it to be a problem, and that there are a few micro-nation users who don't. Surely that's ok.

I'm not sure I've made a walmart analogy. Someone else? And "are awash with as much money as Walmart"? Way overplayed (how much cash do you imagine I have saved?)... and the vanilla one I've made maybe three times? And then, only in reference to the suggestion that we just make huge leagues, all similar with no reference to region at all.
You must tire easily.

I am honestly interested to hear you elucidate the problem... as you see it. I'm also interested to hear how you feel it impacts you specifically.

Can we do it without anger and recrimination?
