Websites don´t sell their ad-space directly. Usually they pass their spaces onto an advertising service (like Goodle Adworks) which can freely use it. Those ad-companies place advertisements based on the possible interest - so it´s no wonder that the buzzerbeaterDB ad appears on Buzzerbeater - it´s clearly hitting plenty tags from the Ad-Provider.

Some pages / ads might be blocked by the original site if they are found appropriate, but it´s for sure not placed there by Buzzerbeater officials.

Well, I was just too late with pressing print-screen as I automaticly login right away, but I just saw the advert again.. Clearly something went wrong in blocking their content

havent read this whole thread or logged into the site, but im not sure its that big of a deal. its much harder in BB to know about your opponents players than it is in real life. In real life you can see the players and how they perform, skills are not hidden if teams scout and do their homework.

you've seen players play in real life, how hard is it to build a profile of their BB skills?

I disagree that its that important. You can get a rough idea of most of the players key skills (scoring, defense, passing, rebounding) from their stats. I think not knowing the skills of other players potentially limits the evolution of players in the game. You have less info on what's working for other teams and how you could change to make your players and team more effective.

Actually, if i could spend 20k/week scouting my opponents players I'd be more inclined to pay that instead of scouting future draftees.
