I agree. I would sell 1 of the top 3 guys be below the salary floor, build his arena fast, train & be set up for the long term. He could even survive in the JBBL with a weak salary floor roster with a little planning. My salaries were around $512k/week most of last season even $485k/week for 3 weeks & I had the best record in the JBBL.

My starting PF was $52k/week salary but did well because he had the inside/outside skills most players couldn't match. I even sold him for a profit after the season. New players think the biggest salary is the best player, often not much else to go on but it can be misleading.

My salaries were only marginally above the salary floor last season, and I finished 5th, with some good wins.
Then again, my arena was nearly completed.

I didn't see this before.

World Rank: 770
Country Rank: 2

I have never been aware of being number 2 before, I always thought FCTB, Swoosh & Stunners would be too far ahead to catch. A nice surprise.

Now come on....when you play and don't care about training players(believe me, he isn't training) (case in point (28115099), a 20 yr old MVP and he gives him 30 minutes last week)then it is easy to win. Mark my words...If I play him in the cup or in the playoffs, I will be playing for real. But we all know Asano playing PG wasn't the best I had. And now this season the playoff money is slit in half...I am scouting and shooting for 4th. 4th is the goods, half the playoff money(I will be playing to win) and maybe 6 spots better in the draft and maybe drafting 9th. Win Win if you ask me.

Yeah.....I will take a 5-2 record for the 1st round of Great 8 games....both losses were on the road. The Big 8 looks somewhat tough, I think I can get 6 wins pretty much with the team I got, and then come back and go 6-1 for the 2nd swing in the Great 8. 17-5 or even 16-6 would be easily a playoff team.
PS...What do you think about the 50-50 split thing?
Swoosh and I were talking about it...It really should have been a 60-40 for the home team.

5-2 will depend when I make my move. I am really short of a big man right now which is obvious to anyone. At some stage I will have to pick up someone who can shut down the opposing bigs.
