Nice sir!
Keep at it.
We did not take that homegrown route.
We only pulled talent and trained talent for the seniors.

We have had NTs of course.
But focus has always been train allround and what is good for team.

And lol a homegrown team cannot sell talents :)

Oh golly we won another game in the swedish top division.
Now we feel confident we will not be boycotted.
Happened before twice for homegrown me.
Even if I then tried like a mad man.

Trust me I will not be able to stay for a second season.
I cannot buy players

Well done! And a 1-point win Exciting.

Hi!

I have a question—maybe someone will know the answer:

If I sold a homegrown player (i.e., a player I acquired from the draft) and then bought him back after a few seasons, would he still be considered homegrown, or just a local player?

Thank you all!

Yes, Asaf.K. He would still be considered HG.

Yes, BB-Justin confirmed it seasons ago.

But You will loose the training exception … afaik you will loose the execption as well in the case you Sell the player to yourself (listing him and bid on him!).

A question:

Has any HG team won a Div 1 title...ever?

It occurred to me that this may have never been achieved. So, I went looking. So far, I have not found a HG team that has won a Div 1 title.

Hopefully, someone out there can correct me.

If this is true, it certainly makes things interesting.

Excellent question... Which right away led me to think of one Austrian team.

If cup competition titles would be count (I suppose you didn't mean to include them as you mentioned 'Div 1 title'), then at least Meidling Parrots could be count as one:
https://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/41696/history.aspx

If I calculated right, 8 wins in Österreich-Pokal-cup competition, and 5 runner-up seasons in cup.

On league (Österreich Bundesliga) on season 57 they were playing in finals, but lost the final series 0-2 to BV Mitterkirchen.

While I realize I'm at the same time taking this slightly into wrong rails as you were only asking about title winners, as a Finnish HG team I can't help myself to mention about most successful (AFAIK) Finnish HG team, Espoo Seals. So even though we're not talking about winning titles when one achieves a place in finals, Finnish team Espoo Seals was 10 points away from clinching a place in finals (in Finnish highest level league SM-Koris) on season 63, which I consider a major achievement for HG team considering it's quite competitive league to my knowledge. If I don't recall wrong, he also was a runner-up on cup competition on one season.

So these kind of achievements I think give all HG teams hope that excellent achievements are within a reach if you play your cards right, and that's one of the reasons why I brought this into conversation.. Another reason being, that I also can't recall any highest league level champion among HG community. I hope to be wrong on this though.

Anyway, it's sometimes quite arduous to compare the level of competition on different countries (which I guess would be necessary if we would for some reason like to "rate" the best HG achievements ever, which I know you weren't even looking forward to do here), and I guess we wouldn't have a chance to do that for past seasons even if we'd want to (say, compare for instance Austrian top league salary levels on season 57, and Finnish league salary levels on season 63).

As a HG team, that's always worth celebrating, especially in a country with lots of high level competition!

I didn't check out your team success history more closely yet, but how have you felt, would it be perfectly possible to win Slovakian highest tier league as a HG team?
We all other managers in HGL have come to experience how strong team you have.. Speaking of teams, are you aware of any other Slovakian homegrown teams? Like has been mentioned before, not all HG teams are on that LOPO_'s list...

I don't know any other HG team in the Slovak leagues.

Winning a title with HG team in the highest Slovak competition is almost impossible, there are very experienced managers there. For example, there is a team that once won B3. But never say never
