After divine victory over Polland we have to come back to reality as we face maybe the biggest favourite of the season - home team of Latvia. Their home court advantage boosts make it very hard for every team to compete with them. As I have won two European championships with team Slovakia thank to home court advantge, I know something about it:)
Latvija is country of about 200 managers but basketball is religion back there so no wonder that their players are really strong, even without home court advantage. It is lead by manager klovijs who brought Latvia home court advantage thank to victory in Consolation tournament last season.
So far Latvians had no problems in group. In spicy game against Turks, their final opponent from consloation tournament, they secured first spot in group. In second phase Latvians destroyed Switzerland by 46 pts. Their players are in awsome shapes, especially their big men! No doubt we will face the best opponent so far!
