I couldn't read the whole thread, but I would like to share something.

Why not merge all the leagues and create one single world league?

Teams would be assigned spots on the world league depending on their world rankings. The first 16 would make division I, next 64 division II, next 256 division III and so on. The whole current BB community would fit in 6 divisions. Teams would keep their flags, players would still make their NTs. The Cup would be kept and upgraded, turning into the national championship, played on a system similar to B3 (round robin matches + playoffs).

That would end the problems of lack of competitiveness of small leagues and also tackle the unbalance of $ between big and small leagues.

So... basically the B3 on a huge scale.

The major issue with this, would be the risk. As has been pointed out, there are people here that rely on this game to pay the bills, and something like that could possibly end or severely restrict the finances that BB makes.
Honestly? I can't imagine it'd attract NEW users, and would probably (?) lose current ones.

The reality of any online game is that people leave. The key is getting new people in. And even then - the key (for longevity) is getting people to *pay*. New users don't leave because of a lack of competition. New users leave because they get the crap beat out of them because they've been put in a league that's too strong.

Now, the game you propose would take - quite literally - years of being invested to succeed. And even then, only one team per season can ultimately be the div 1 winner. It's not a recipe for success.

You might want to check the title of this thread ...
The fact is that every country will be affected by what they ultimately choose, and everyone has a say. You might check BB-Ryan's OP in this thread for yourself:
- We welcome the opinion of everyone
Of course they do, because everyone will be affected.

Cherry-picking with your quotes there Mike...

But any way, this is about micro-nations.
You stated:
The only thing that makes TOTAL sense is reshuffling everywhere, not just top or bottom. Half measures make no sense at all. Everybody, top to bottom, will be affected by whatever they do. Making it right for everyone is what makes total sense.

As said in retort "to you". This only makes sense "to you"... within the premise of THIS thread. THIS thread is in regards to micro-nations, feel free to start a new one about the massive "reshuffling everywhere".
Or are you merely talking about reshuffling ALL micro-nations. It's unclear what you're saying...
As has been suggested (not by me), what you propose is a dicey proposition due to the fact that there are livelihoods on the line (something you're not contributing to).

Discuss, sure. Have opinions. But "having an opinion" isn't really helpful or conducive to discussion if all you're doing is restating the same ol' stuff over, and over - disregarding the thread's purpose.

This is exactly lack of competition! U can be bored being too strong or too weak.
I agree with you when u said that the goal is getting new people, but you also have to keep them.
Maybe one league isn't the best solution, but maybe a merge with less leagues than then actual situation is it.

The fact it's the game is dying. We have less users week after week. BBs can choose if let the game keep going for a while that way or make a risky move trying to save it but if they fail they are going to lose the game sooner.

I still want the chance to win the top league one day. By creating only one Div I this is next to impossible. What would happen with B3 then? Useless competition and a mega-cup would suck too- probably wouldn't even fit into the seasons schedule.

Erm... no. That's not what I said. I didn't say *bored*. And as Knecht said (and I alluded to earlier), having one league (or even significantly fewer than now) is going to create another set of problems... that may even be worse (financially) than now.

And this is not intended to insult, but you've been here a season - that last bolded quote makes only anecdotal sense coming from someone who's just got here.

I like the idea but the Time differences would kill the game. I think if they did this on a regional level it would work best.
