I'm not sure I follow your point, how would allowing supporters to manage a second team make the game more restricting than allowing no one to manage second teams?

I like the idea, but it shouldn't be for supporters only, that just keeps making this game more restricting.

In what ways do you think non-supporters would be restricted more than they are now? There are concerns raised in this thread that this new feature would change the experience for non-supporters but I don't see how it would restrict them or take any part of the game away that they currently enjoy.

ok.

after 21 days of discussion, 740 messages and 2558 votes, isn't time to stop and assume some consideration?

i know (i was a tester) an offline game where only one developer, from 2006, passed from 1 nation and only 2 leagues to almost 60 nations, NBA included, completely for free. And this game has an editor, and you can change your background image....
and we're still trying to convince some users to the effective gain, in term of money, of a 2nd team?

One thing is enough clear: 4,6% of the users are for 2nd team, 3,8% are not for it and 91,6% are not interested on it.

So, isn't time to concentrate to useless advantage for supporters like Jerseys and Court logos or rename some players/some draftees instead of loosing time and "resources" in a "waiting position"?

ah, i remember i was for 2nd team, but things doesn't develop good it seems.

I really wouldn't put a dime for Jerseys and Court logos. But I could put money for 2nd team supporter if team would be in a country I like (competitive, not micronation). I don't know how NT teams are managed, but maybe that kind of solution could be utilized for 2nd team management, so not necessarily hard to implement as such.

For sure i won't request an increase in supporter pricing for Jersey and court logos. It was just a non polemic "defiance" because results (numbers i posted) are enough clear Imo.
I know, and i remember in my post, 2nd team, considering just the incomes, is one of the best ideas...

An official reaction should be there relatively soon.

relatively: can be quantified?

seriously, it should be "That's one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for Buzzerbeater".

Let's wait

I feel there is some doubt about our involvement in this thread. I assure you, we read everything and carefully consider everything said here. The fact seems to be that almost everything of any relevance has been said and the thread has the tendency to go off topic, so, seems like the time for a decision has come. Since this is a very hot topic and a potentially game-changing new feature, we have to consider all the elements and points of view, all the factors, beneficial or otherwise. So, to summarize, please allow for some time while we try and find the best conclusion for this initiative.

Thank you for your contribution and patience.

I think the poll choices ought to be renamed"

"Those that have supporter or will buy it after implementing a 2nd team option"
"Those that do not have supporter and still won't buy it."

Personally before we do this "second team" thing to placate small nation owners and create incentives for supporters, why not revamp the league system first?

I really think we're missing a big opportunity by not having regional leagues for smaller nations. e.g. Asian league with Japan, India, Pakistan, Vietnam, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan. Then an owner in, say, Mongolia or Laos keeps their flag, and enters the regional leagues.

Then either:

a) revamp pro leagues to become continental, dictating spots in leagues by a team performance coefficient. So an Asian pro league might have four strong Chinese teams, two Russian teams, an Iranian team, a Japanese team, a Thai team, etc. The pro leagues would become far more cutthroat for survival and just getting in would be an accomplishment in itself.

b) do the above, but outside of the league structure - a "champion's league" for every continent - and only offer it to supporters.

I've been playing this game since 2010, first with an American team and then with a Chinese team when I expatriated. The user base has shrunk by 40% over the last year or so and all my former BB buddies have stopped playing. I'd buy Supporter again if I saw any incentives for it other than what looks like an empty cash grab.
