Hi everyone,

First of all, i am happy to see this debate open

As a senegalese manager, i vote without any doubt for option n°2

All countries would continue to exist in their current form. Micro-nations would still be grouped together to form new leagues but the current flags, NTs and U21s would not change in any way

I speak for myself but NT is a big part of this game for managers like us. To remove nationalities would be a big big mistake !

Now, as an african manager, i fully welcome an african league. It would be easy cause we all speak french and/or english so no big deal. Elsewhere it is much more complicated.

I understand what you're tryng to do but to me it appears that option n°2 is the best for areas like Africa, Central America or South America. For others, option n°3 seems better : Andorra should merge into Spain. Wales, Ireland and Scotland should compete with England. Do mexicans want to play in Mexico only, in Central America or in South America (like IRL in soccer). Iranians don't want anything to change, so be it.

All those things said to ask : would it be possible to vote by countries and/or areas you propose and to do what each area wants to ? One week nations vote. The week after the areas vote.

Regards,

Nuff

There are only 200 countries in the world give or take. If there were 40 in each that would mean 8000 users. Outside the macros- the micros are meaningless and pointless...unless of course you want to invent a new universe wtih thousands of nations in it.

Except... that's still not an answer as to why you think that it "costs more than it's worth". Pretty sure that it costs zero for them to exist.
Look, if this is about consolidating profits, there are other things that need addressing over this.

I propose the secession of the state of Illinois from BB USA.

Awesome. Now get that recognised in real world terms, and you're on your way to having that actually occur.

I do not know how true it is today but in the past many African managers were representing the flag of a nation they did not actually live in because their nation had not been created (yet)

Anyway do you agree it would be much greater to have more flags, at least in Africa and probably the whole world?

I can't tell how many african managers live in the country that is not in the BB world. There was one from Mauritania in Senegal but he is does not play anymore and he had no problem playing in Senegal cause his family was from Senegal.

To be honest with you, i think that BB has no intention to add more nations in the game. And when you see that there are only 10 active teams in Morocco, 8 in Senegal, 7 in Nigeria, 6 in South Africa, 4 in Algeria, 3 in Ghana, 3 in Egypt and 2 in Tunisia, why would they create more NTs ?

An african league would be a great improvement. With so little users, more NTs in Africa make no sense

If merging is a necessity (still unconvinced), then I like the suggestions made (I think both of us have made it at different times in this thread) of having different national divisions with a regional div 1. I think #3 is less likely than #2 (which is kinda what I was talking about... in some form). Of the choices tabled by BBRyan at the very beginning, I'd go with #2.

I forgot to say but i think that this possibility of merging micro-nations should go with a changement in B3 qualifications. The whole world must continue to be represented on B3 and not just 2 clubs from Central America, South America, Africa, etc...

Maybe i was not clear

Like i said i go without any doubt with option n°2 : merge leagues to have a competitive and fun league but not remove nationalities and NTs

I want an african league but i want my team to remain senegalese, my players to remain senegalese and i want them to play an African tournament against Nigeria, Tunisia, South Africa, etc... like it is

Then i said that i think B3 should stay a world wide competition. If you merge micro-nations, europeans will be over-represented. To me it appears that at least one team from each nationality in the game should play B3. Like it is. League winners, Cup winners and best team from each country. Why not ?
