Bobo's mailed me before our cup match asking for a mutual TIE. I agreed, assuring him I would be Taking it Easy. He didn't.

Wow, that's a pretty dick move. Not like his team needs the help, either.

Hopefully Lokomotiv will take him down tonight with his lower enthusiasm now.

Lokomotiv has a good team. He should be in d2 next year, or at least has a 45% chance at it.

hes in my pl and was in my d3 when i moved up. i think he wants to do well in the cup.

its ineresting that you chose this tactic namssor.

i for the record (dary will tell you) never mutual pic. i will occasionally tell you i am picing ahead of time, and let you figure it out yourself what to do from there.

but you coulda kept the information private, or instead of saying you mutually pic'd, followed with your own path of deception claiming you normaled and that he CT'd, thus drawing blood in the water for his future games.

if he tried claiming that he normaled, you could then unload the embarassing bb-mail exchange.

either way theres alot you coulda done in response to the grand act of deception.

i for one appreciate the heads-up.

i might play my own mind games with him now.

I was going to TIE anyway, so no skin off my back. I just thought you all might want to know what went down. I mailed him afterward, but he didn't respond.

1) It's a cowardly-style dick move ... period. Lying about a TIE is almost as bad as being a snitch.

2) You fell for it. Sorry to hear it. - EDIT: I retract this statement now that I read the one you wrote moments before I posted mine.

I think you meant to direct this towards earl, not me, but yeah it's an interesting situation. Never heard of someone weaseling out of it before. Maybe it was an honest mistake, who knows.

You can say what you want and it probably deserved. But as you can see I hadn't logged in a while because I was on travel.

I did ask for the TIE to try and help either one of our teams to the next round. Neither one of us gain anything by beating up on each other and I know earlgrey has played the game for as long as I have and do have a deep respect for him and the others that I know started around the same time (daryl, and other in other divisions) For some reason, my line up was defaulted (either I didn't set it or it didn't take) and the rest is history.

Worst yet, I lost a lot of enthusiasm and game shape because I didn't set it thursday or a pivotal friday pl match. I was one position C training and lost a bunch of time there too.

In my first log in attempt today, I messaged Earlgrey immediate offering an apology. It's 40k and I would freely send him the money. Whether it's a simple crap player he buys for 1k and I buy for 45k (to offset the cost) or forfeiting the next match against him.

There was no ill intention attempted and the people who know me personally in this game would say the same. I have always complied with the tie rule by atleast responding and following suit.

Again I apologize and hope in time we can move forward.
